Just a few days before Thanksgiving, Bub's Grandma Cardwell passed away. At Halloween, we were told that she had cancer. So it went rather quickly. We are glad she didn't have to suffer too much.
She was as spunky as they come. Her funeral was quite entertaining for that reason. This is a picture I was drawing for her for Christmas. Because I didn't get to give it to her, we framed it and displayed it at her funeral. She was an amazing woman to me, who I admire a great deal. She went through a lot of difficult things in her life, but kept going. She had a style all her own, and an unforgettable personality. We love her and miss her.
