These were our little trick or treaters this year. Emma was Ariel, Mary a duckie, cousin Maggie also a duckie, and Aiden was a hiker. His costume evolved from Jengo Fett, to an army guy, to a zombie army guy to a zombie, to one of the 3 nephite ghosts, to a last minute rendition of a "hiker". He kept telling other kids "Don't worry, I'm not gonna kill you." He's been reading a book of Montana ghost stories and we figured out that he was actually talking about hitch hiker (you know those great stories with the hook for a hand?) Except that he didn't know exactly what a hitch hiker was. Hence the back pack, walking stick and lantern. :) I love that kid. At one point he even wanted to be "Slappy the Dummy" who is the star of a goosebumps book. love it love it love it. That kid is so much fun. Mary's first Halloween was a fun one. It was a little chilly outside, but she smiled and giggled the whole time. We enjoyed having some of Bub's family come over for chili and breadsticks and the worst movie ever! ;)
