We started at the Wasatch lawn memorial park in Salt Lake where we visited the graves of our angel baby Abigail, and Bub's grandparents. Then we headed south for several hours to Richfield to see the graves of My Mom, my sister, and my grandparents. (we didn't make it to Sandy to visit my Dad's grave though.) the first picture is the kids at their sister's grave, the second picture is at my Mom's.
We stayed overnight at a hotel in Richfield and had an adventure there. We specifically got a hotel with a pool in it so the kids could get their wiggles out after riding in the car all day. While swimming, Aiden was having a blast jumping in off the side while one of us caught him. He's never had swimming lessons because we've never been high enough on the waiting list to get in. And Emma was ecstatic being bounced around and twirled around in circles in the water. apparently her stomach didn't like it as much as she did. She threw up. So we all got out and started putting our towels on so we could go tell someone. I turned to hand a towel to Aiden, but he wasn't there. He had decided to jump in the pool all by himself! We caught site of him just quick enough to see his head bob up and gasp some air before it disappeared under the water. Talk about your worst nightmare! Bub shouted and a lady in the water next to Aiden saw what was happening and grabbed onto him. Thank heavens for that Lady! I felt bad that only 2 minutes later the hotel staff put an end to her relaxing evening swim by shutting down the pool because our other child had contaminated the water with puke. Poor nice lady. Poor 20 or so other guests who had to leave also. I don't think anyone there liked us very much at that point. After we got dried and dressed we sneaked out of the hotel to go get a late dinner. The restaurant didn't like us either. We were the people who showed up 20 minutes before closing. oh well. what are ya gonna do? We may not be liked, but we're alive and I'm plenty happy about that.
